CHENNAI: Rainfall occurred at most places over coastal Karnataka, at many places over Kerala and at a few places over Lakshadweep. Isolated rainfall occurred over Tamil Nadu, Telangana and interior Karnataka.

Dry weather prevailed over coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema. The chief amounts of rainfall recorded in centimeters are: Agumbe 6, Kollur (Udupi dt) 5, Panambur and Kundagol (Udupi dt) 4 each, Mangalore airport, Udupi, Karkala (Udupi dt), Shirali, Gerusoppa (Uttara Kannada dt) and Thirthahalli (Shimoga dt) 3 each, Puttur (Dakshina Kannada dt), Honavar, Sirsi and Yellapura (both Uttara Kannada dt), Madikeri, Kozhikode and Cherthala (Alapuzha dt) 2 each and Mangalore, Karwar, Kochi airport and Minicoy 1 each.

FORECAST (valid until Tuesday morning): Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at many places over coastal Karnataka and at a few places over Kerala and Lakshadweep.

Isolated rain or thundershowers are likely to occur over Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry, Andhra Pradesh and interior Karnataka.

FARMERS WEATHER BULLETIN FOR TAMIL NADU AND PONDICHERRY (Valid until Tuesday Morning): Isolated light to moderate rain is likely to occur over Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry.

Outlook for subsequent two days: No significant change.
