MYSORE: The Cauvery Neeravari Nigam has issued a flood warning for people residing downstream of Nugu reservoir in H.D. Kote taluk. It has asked people to stay away from the riverbank downstream. A release said that water could be released from the reservoir any time following heavy inflow into the reservoir. The Irrigation Department would not be responsible for losses incurred owing to water release from the reservoir, it added.
