Funds allotted for two Wards

Coimbatore: The Coimbatore Corporation has sanctioned Rs.22.50 lakh for development works in Wards 60 and 61. The funds allocation was announced at the Mayor's Public Grievances Redressal Programme.

Petitions were received from residents of these wards and after studying the problems stated in these, the Corporation allocated funds for storm water drains, tar roads and provision of roads in these wards. While Ward 60 was allotted Rs.11.50 lakh, Ward 61 was sanctioned Rs.11 lakh.
