ALAPPUZHA: A 10-year-old boy was killed and three others were injured when the Nizamuddin-Thiruvanamthapuram Suvarna Jayanthi Express rammed the car in which they were travelling at an unmanned level-crossing at Eanakulamgara, near Kayamkulam, at 9 a.m. on Sunday. The police identified the deceased as Aravind, Kochumadathil House, Ramapuram, Keerikkad. The injured were identified as Sreeraj (18), Sooraj (12) and Abdul Salam (32). They were on their way to visit Aravind's uncle at Chettikulangara. Sreeraj and Sooraj, who are cousins of Aravind, were admitted to Haripad Government Hospital. Abdul Salam, driver of the car, has been admitted to Pushpagiri Medical College, Thiruvalla.
