Domestic help hangs herself in Munirka
Geeta worked at the house of the judge who lives in Munirka Enclave. On Saturday morning, the judge found that jewellery and cash kept in his house had gone missing. It is learnt that Geeta, who had come to work that day, went back to her nearby jhuggi dwelling around noon. In an attempt to check if she had any role to play in the theft, the judge reportedly called her in the evening and quizzed her at his sister's flat. Saying that she would be back soon, Geeta took leave and allegedly hanged herself on the seventh floor of the Institute of Health and Family Welfare building. The building liftman found her hanging and raised an alarm. She was rushed to a hospital where she was declared dead on arrival. The police suspect that the domestic help committed suicide as she felt guilty of having stolen the valuables from her employer's house.

with cocaine
On Friday, the NCB picked up a Nigerian national from Munirka in South-West Delhi, from whom 142 gm of white powder, suspected to be cocaine, was seized. During interrogation, the accused identified himself as Peter Obi and allegedly confessed to his involvement in the drug cartel. At his instance, the NCB sleuths mounted raids on Friday evening and Saturday and arrested three more Nigerian nationals, Emanuel, Antony and Chime. Investigations revealed that the contraband had been brought from Goa. "This is the biggest cocaine seizure in Delhi so far," said an NCB official, adding that the entire racket involving the four Nigerian nationals had been smashed.
