NEW DELHI: The fourth list for admissions declared by Delhi University on Sunday seems to hold little hope for students looking to get into a college. With admission to almost all courses closed, there is only some room left for students wanting to pursue Hindi (Honours), B.A Programme and the recently restructured courses in Science. Those hoping that the cut-off percentage required for B.Com (Honours) will dip by the fourth list will be disappointed as the admission to the course has closed in most colleges. B.A Programme is on offer at Aditi Mahavidyalaya at 58 per cent, Bhagini Nivedita College at 57.5 per cent and Deshbandhu College at 64 per cent. Daulat Ram College also has some seats left for students with an aggregate of 68 per cent, but only in selected combination. The course is also available at Moti Lal Nehru College at 60-81 per cent and Vivekananda College at 68.5 per cent. Seats in the new restructured B.Com course have been filled in most colleges. However, there is still room at Bharti College at 74.5-76.5 per cent, Delhi College of Arts and Commerce at 84-89 per cent and Kirori Mal at 89.25-93.74 per cent. The most popular course this time round, B.Com (Honours) might be available in some colleges, but the percentage required is still sky-high. At Deshbandhu College, the cut-off required for B.Com (Honours) is 82.5-84.5 per cent, Maitreyi College at 87 per cent and Ramjas College at 92-96 per cent. Economic (Honours) is available at Deshbandhu College at 79 per cent, but students will be on a waiting list. History (Honours) is available at Deshbandhu College at 58-60 per cent, Kalindi College at 53-58 per cent and Kirori Mal at 75-84.99 per cent. Lakshmi Bai College also has some seats left in the subject and the cut-off required is 60 per cent. Lady Shri Ram College (LSR) has seats left in Hindi (Honours) at 57 per cent. The course is available at Atma Ram Sanatan Dharam (ARSD) at 55 per cent, Bhagini Nivedita College at 60.5 per cent, Daulat Ram at 57-62 per cent and Maharaja Agrasen College at 60 per cent. Political Science (Honours) is available at Deshbandhu College at 61-63 per cent, Maitreyi College at 69 per cent and Moti Lal Nehru at 65-73 per cent. Sri Venkateswara College has some seats left in Sociology (Honours) at 82-86.5 per cent. Gargi College, LSR, Miranda House, Shaheed Rajguru College of Applied Sciences for Women and Sri Venkateswara College have closed their admission in Science courses. However, there are seats available for Physics (Honours) at ARSD at 77 per cent, Deshbandhu College at 69.99 per cent, Ramjas College at 81 per cent and Swami Sharadhanad College at 72 per cent. Chemistry (Honours) is on offer at Acharya Narendra Dev College at 66 per cent, ARSD at 70 per cent, Kirori Mal College at 75.78.99 per cent, Hindu College at 80 per cent and Rajdhani College at 68 per cent.
