Two held on cheating charge

BANGALORE: A clerk of Bangalore Electricity Supply Company Limited (BESCOM) and his son have been charged with cheating people by offering cure to ailments through black magic.

According to Jayanagar police, some people have complained that Ramalingaiah (55), a resident of Sakamma Garden, and his son, were accepting money from women by promising cure for their ailments.

Suicide

A 48-year-old BESCOM employee residing in Nagarabhavi committed suicide in his house on Saturday, the Jnanabharati police said.

According to the police, Manjunath was found hanging from the ceiling of his house.
