Withdraw new admission policy, Government urged

GULBARGA: All India Students Federation (AISF) and Karnataka Dalit Vidyarthi Okkuta on Monday staged a dharna in front of the administrative block of Gulbarga University on the outskirts of the city demanding that the Government withdraw its controversial new admission policy for postgraduate courses in all universities.

In a memorandum addressed to Governor T.N. Chaturvedi and submitted to the university authorities, it has been pointed out that the new admission policy introduced this academic year would deprive students of opportunity to pursue higher education.
