Taanya is champion

Bangalore : Taanya Ravi emerged champion in the girls' under-13 singles event, beating Uttara Prakash 21-11, 21-16 in the final of the Ramaiah Rajan Memorial State-ranking badminton tournament at the Prakash Courts here on Monday.

The results (finals): Boys: Under-10 (singles): M. Manjunath bt S. Sudeep 21-15, 21-17.

Girls: Under-10 (singles): Reshma Karthik bt Priya Prakash 21-7, 21-6. Under-13 (singles): Taanya Ravi bt Uttara Prakash 21-11, 21-16.
