`Annabhishekam' at Shirdi Sai temple today

VISAKHAPATNAM: `Annabhishekam' (ritualistic rice pouring) will be performed at the Shirdi Sai Baba Spiritual Centre at Seethammadhara here on the occasion of Guru Purnima on Tuesday.

The Annabhishekam will be done with cooked rice and milk.

Nearly 800 kg of rice will be used for the purpose. The rice would be given as prasadam to the devotees.

The programme, being organised at the temple since 1990, will be accompanied by a music recital.

This year a troupe from Machilipatnam led by Tulasi Rao, Rajeswari and P. Sita will entertain devotees with their devotional music.
