Conference on ecological sanitation

PONDICHERRY: A two-day conference on Ecological Sanitation organised by the Agency for Technical Cooperation and Development (ACTED) in collaboration with AuroAnnam got underway on Monday in Pondicherry with delegates from NGOs working with eco-san airing their views on the toilet model. This model is being currently used in tsunami affected coastal areas in various parts of Tamil Nadu.

K Vijayanthi, Assistant Project Officer - Child Environment, United Nations Children's Fund, Subburaman, director SCOPE, Benjamin Larrouquette, country coordinator, ACTED - INDIA and Lucas of AuroAnnam spoke on various issues.
