Students to observe fast

PONDICHERRY: The students seeking admissions in private professional engineering and medical colleges in Pondicherry would observe a nine-hour fast on July 15 at Venketa Subba Reddiar Statue.

The fast is to press their demand for 70 per cent seats for the Government sponsored students.

The parents of the students would also join the fast, a release from Pondicherry State Students and Parents Association said.
