Colleges running illegal courses warned

Special Correspondent

JAIPUR: The Rajasthan Government on Monday warned private educational institutions of strict action if they admitted students to unrecognised courses in the wake of reports that several colleges were claiming to run employment-oriented courses and charging exorbitant fee for admission to them.

Principal Secretary for Higher Education R.P. Jain advised students to ensure that the courses to which they were applying had recognition from the university to which the colleges were affiliated. He asked the parents to properly guide their children in this regard.
