HUDA makes `Formation Day' plans

Officials asked to finalise housing funds for lower, middle income groups

HYDERABAD:
Hyderabad Urban Development Authority (HUDA) has plans to allot houses for middle and lower income groups on October 2 to mark its Formation Day.
HUDA Chairman D. Sudheer Reddy reviewed various developmental activities on Monday with Vice-Chairman Jayesh Ranjan as HUDA would be completing 30 years shortly.
Mr. Sudheer Reddy directed officials to finalise funding for the MIG and LIG housing projects and modalities of allotment. The meeting decided to inaugurate STP and Lake Development Projects at Mir-Alam Tank, Durgam Cheruvu, Saroornagar and Pedda Cheruvu and commence work on commercial complexes at Ameerpet and Saroornagar. The works for elevated express would be awarded on July 25.
