Degree student ends life

HYDERABAD: A second-year degree student Shubu, who consumed toilet -cleaning chemical three weeks ago, died in a private hospital at Begumpet while undergoing treatment on Sunday. The victim was a resident of Indian Airlines Colony. She gulped the chemical reportedly after her mother scolded her for securing low marks in her exams, the Begumpet police said.
