Two arrested for thefts

NEW DELHI: Two persons allegedly involved in mobile phone thefts have been arrested by the Central Delhi police.

According to the police, the accused, Monu and Chintu, were arrested at different places in I.P. Estate on Sunday.

The police have recovered 10 stolen mobile phones from their possession.

The police said the accused would steal mobile phones at crowded places, particularly in front of temples.

They had also committed mobile phone thefts at Vaishno Devi in Jammu and other religious places in Uttar Pradesh. Further investigations in the case are on.
