Painting competition held

KOCHI: The All Kerala Painting competition organised by the Ernakulam YMCA was held at different YMCAs in the city on Saturday.

It was inaugurated by M M Monayi, MLA, a noted painter. YMCA president Jacob Mathew Palakunnath presided over the function.

Over 1,500 children participated in the competition, which was organised with the aim of developing the hidden talents of kids and to cultivate brotherhood among them.
