Students who lost a paper in the SSLC examination held in March are a worried lot these days. The Save A Year (SAY) examination held for those who failed in a subject seems to be not working in their favour. Some say the examination could be better called as "Lose A Year" examination. Students say that the admission process for Plus One course had been completed by the time the results of SAY examination were announced. Higher Secondary Schools conducted the admission for Plus One classes on Monday. Students who cleared the SAY examination could not make it, as they did not receive the new mark lists and SSLC certificate. Education Department authorities says that these students can go for private registration.
