Mass leave by store keeping staff

Pondicherry: The store keeping staff attached to various departments in Pondicherry Government had decided to go on mass earned leave for 15 days from Wednesday to push their charter of demands. A release from their association said that they were struggling hard for promotion for the last 18 years. The staff wanted among other things parity of their services with ministerial staff. They would hold dharna in front of the Assembly every day from Wednesday.
