Radio City to set up 16 FM stations
HYDERABAD
: Radio City has announced plans to invest Rs. 70 to 80 crore this fiscal to set up 16 FM (Frequency Modulation) stations across India. The head count of personnel in the new stations will be 250, the Chief Executive Officer, Apurva Purohit, said in a release. She said the company had acquired licences for the stations and was confident of going on air by the year-end. Work was already on and with Chennai and Hyderabad already operational, Jaipur will go on air from July 15. The other stations are Ahmedabad, Nagpur, Pune, Surat, Ahmednagar, Akola, Nanded, Jalgaon, Sangli, Sholapur, Vadodara, Coimbatore and Visakhapatanam, the release said.
