Lalu not in favour of third front

Ranchi: RJD chief and Railway Minister Lalu Prasad said on Tuesday that he was not in favour of a third front. "There is only one front [UPA]," he said. On the NCP demand for expanding the UPA-Left Coordination Committee, Mr. Prasad said: "It's good to have more secular parties in the UPA."

Mr. Prasad sought to know from the media why it was "silent" on the "happenings" in Bihar after its "negative" reporting during the RJD's reign. — PTI
