State senior powerlifting

MANGALORE: The 32nd men's and 24th women's State senior powerlifting championship will be held at the Town Hall here from July 14. More than 250 lifters from across the State are expected to participate in the three-day event.

Competitors from leading clubs such as Balanjaneya Gymnasium, Mangalore, Beereshwara Vyayama Shaale, Davangere, Municipal Sports Club, and Karnataka State Police will vie for honours. The State team for the National to be held at Nainital in August will be selected during the meet.
