Norm for UCBs in priority sector lending

MUMBAI: The Reserve Bank of India on Tuesday stated that investments made after April 1, 2007, 0by urban co-operative banks (UCBs) in bonds issued by NHB and HUDCO exclusively for financing of housing, irrespective of the loan size, will not be eligible for classification under priority sector lending.
