BANGALORE: The Karnataka Government will grant an additional 192 acres of land to Bangalore International Airport Ltd. (BIAL), which has begun work on the construction of the international airport at Devanahalli in Bangalore Rural district. Zurich Airport Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Joseph Felder and CEO of the international airport Albert Brunner on Tuesday called on Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy and Deputy Chief Minister B.S. Yediyurappa to apprise them of the progress of work in the airport project. Mr. Yediyurappa said the Government would grant the required land and other facilities sought. BIAL had promised the Government that it would complete 75 per cent of the project work in the next 12 months, Mr. Yediyurappa said.
