CHENNAI: S.R. Suganya of Tamil Nadu defeated L. Teja Shree (Andhra Pradesh) 6-3, 2-6, 6-0 in the girls' under-16 first round of the AITA (Talent Series) junior tennis tournament at the Krishnan Tennis Centre, Kottivakkam, here on Tuesday.
