`Revamp panel on Idgah maidan issue'

Staff Correspondent

HUBLI: Members of the State unit of the Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha have urged the State Government to reconstitute the committee headed by Primary and Secondary Education Minister Basavaraj S. Horatti, which was formed for resolving the Idgah Maidan row. They said the committee had no representatives of the Hindu Mahasabha and other Hindu organisations. To press their demand, they took out a procession here on Tuesday and submitted to the Hubli tahsildar a memorandum addressed to Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy. Muslim advocates from Hubli have also criticised the composition of the committee.
