MANGALORE: The anti-rowdy squad of Dakshina Kannada police raided a premises where three persons belonging to Hakki-pikki tribe were allegedly kept under wrongful confinement on Tuesday. The police have arrested two persons on charges of kidnapping the three. Superintendent of Police B. Dayananda said the victims Saga, Prabhu and Umesh, who belong to the Hakki-pikki tribe in Shimoga district, had allegedly provided a fake gem to the accused Yogesh Mallya and Prashanth Kumar. Upset at this, the accused confined the three to a room.
