Award given away to science teachers
SOME STUDENTS often are in fear of science teachers because the latter often shoot questions that cannot be easily answered. For these three science teachers, it was award time from the C.N.R Rao Science Foundation. The three teachers were N. Sheela from Agastya International Foundation; H.L. Ramachandra Sastry, principal of Gnanyodaya School, and R.S. Srivatsava of Opportunity School at IIT, Kanpur. The foundation aims to encourage enthusiastic and talented young students take up the study of science when they reach college. It recognises the foundations laid by science teachers in schools.
