Christian panel demands Censor Board chairperson's resignation

HYDERABAD: All -India Christian Joint Action Committee has demanded resignation of Censor Board of Film Certification (CBFC) chairperson Sharmila Tagore for hurting the sentiments of Christians in the country by reportedly giving a clean chit to controversial film `The Da Vinci Code.' Committee national president A. P. Dass said a relay hunger strike would be organised on July 12 at Indira Park demanding a ban on the film.

The film contained sacrilegious scenes, which hurt the sentiments of Christians.
