Garbage: MCH to penalise RTC

HYDERABAD: The Municipal Corporation of Hyderabad (MCH) has decided to penalise the APSRTC for dumping garbage into the open nala at Kailasiguda behind the bus depot on Tuesday.

Commissioner Sanjay Jaju and other senior officials inspected the sanitation works in areas in Secunderabad like Mahakali Temple, M.G. Road, Ambedkarnagar slum and so on.

During their visit, they were aghast to find the bus depot's garbage in the nala and fined the RTC depot manager Rs. 20,000. The nala silt is to be removed and a cement road laid at the widened portion in Ranigunj, a press release said.
