Fire safety workshop on July 14

HYDERABAD: National Academy of Construction (NAC) Madhapur is conducting a two-day workshop titled `Fire safety in the built environment' on the academy premises on July 14 and 15.

The objective is to create awareness on fire safety norms and provide a platform for stakeholders to express their doubts and solutions.

Speaking to reporters here on Tuesday, advisor to NAC Director General V.Prabhu said that NAC is organising this workshop in the wake of recent observations made by the High Court of Andhra Pradesh in terms of fire safety lapses in the city.

Issues pertaining to fire safety provisions for multi-storied buildings, fire prevention, detection and protection systems would be addressed by experts in the field.
