New Delhi: A Kashmiri militant, who is an alleged key supplier of explosives in the capital, was arrested in South Delhi and over two kg of RDX and cash seized from him, police said on Tuesday. Ajaz Hussain Khwaja from Baramulla district in Jammu and Kashmir was arrested from the Lodhi Road area on Monday after police received a tip-off about his movement, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Special Cell) Alok Kumar told PTI. Police are interrogating him to find out if he has any links with the serial blasts in Srinagar and Mumbai, which terrorist outfit he belonged to and his contacts in the capital. An amount of Rs. 49 lakh was also seized from him, police said. Hussain (43), police said, was working for Pakistan-based militant Mukhtar Ahmed. He had been living in the Jangpura locality for some time, and was arrested when he went to the Lodhi Road area in a car, apparently to hand over the cash and explosives to someone. Hussain allegedly used to collect explosives and money through hawala channels and supply it to suspected militants on Ahmed's directions.
