Showcasing hi-tech, the traditional way

HARD COPY: `Technopark,' the monthly newsletter.

With over 100 IT and ITES companies employing more than 12,500 professionals, Kerala's premier IT destination has much to be highlighted. But when it comes to showcasing its achievements, the high technology venture promoted by the Government still prefers the good old newsletter.

The July issue of `Technopark,' the monthly newsletter, offers a brief look at the various activities on the campus over the last month. The highlight of the issue is the visit of Sir Michael Arthur, British High Commissioner to India. It carries a report about the launch of an R&D division by RWDI, one of the largest wind engineering consultancy groups in the world.

The newsletter has reported on the expansion projects of other companies, the opening of a bookstall by DC Books and a call centre by the UK-based Anand Travel. It also offers tributes to an IT professional who passed away recently.
