Addressing a lecture on `role of an auditor in private limited companies' organised by the Department of Commerce, Sri Kaliswari College, Sivakasi, recently, T.S. Maharaj, Chartered Accountant, said auditor should be a tax consultant and confidant. K. Rajakumar, Principal, delivered the presidential address. V.Sudhakar, Head of the Department, welcomed the gathering. The department held an `awareness programme on Tally 7.2' on July 4. Resource persons R. Vijayarajan and C. Arasappan explained different versions of Tally and brought out its importance.
Syed Hameedha Arts and Science College in Kilakarai honoured outgoing founder principal of the college N. Nainar Mohamed at a function held recently. Mustafa, principal, presided. S.M. Hameed Abdul Quadir, Chairman, recalled his dedicated service to the development of the college. S.M. Kabeer, Correspondent, Vemuri Lakshmi Narayana, Principal, Mohamed Sathak Engineering College, A. Alvudeen, Principal, Mohamed Sathak Polytechnic College, G. Ramar, C.S. Robinson, G. Ramar and S.P. Balakrishnan participated. N. Nainar Mohamed thanked all for their cooperation while he was serving in service.
