MUL forms JV with Japanese firm

NEW DELHI: Maruti Udyog Ltd. on Wednesday said it had entered into a joint venture with Bellsonica Corporation of Japan to manufacture car body metal components, including high tensile strength steel. The joint veture, Bellsonica Auto Component India Pvt Ltd (BACI), will have Bellsonica hold 70 per cent stake, while MUL will hold the balance.
