Indian team to be selected on July 20

Mumbai: The Indian cricket team for the tri-series in Sri Lanka in mid-August will be selected here on July 20. Indian captain Rahul Dravid will join the five selectors, but coach Greg Chappell will not attend the meeting, said the BCCI secretary, Niranjan Shah. Sachin Tendulkar's availability for the tri-series will be known after the BCCI receives a report from physio John Gloster. ``Gloster would be in Mumbai on Thursday and I will ask him to give a report,'' said Mr. Shah.

Meanwhile the BCCI's working committee will meet in New Delhi on July 16. — Special Correspondent
