two medical colleges
In a statement to the press, Dr. Acharya said work was going on apace on the construction of buildings of the other four government medical colleges (Hassan, Shimoga, Bidar and Raichur). Earlier in the day, Dr. Acharya told the Legislative Assembly on Wednesday that the Belgaum and Mandya colleges would admit students from the current academic year (2006-07) itself. Chief Minister to inaugurate bridge
July 16. Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy will inaugurate the super structure built at a cost of Rs. 60 crore at Korthi in Bilagi taluk of Bagalkot district at 4.30 p.m. After that he will participate in the formal ceremony on the outskirts of Bilagi town. According to the itinerary, the Chief Minister will arrive here by helicopter at 1.30 p.m. He is scheduled to open the bus terminus and the office of the District Consumers' Forum.
