Coimbatore: The Kerala based People's Democratic Party (PDP) leader and undertrial in the Coimbatore serial blasts case, Maudhany, has thanked the Chief Ministers of Kerala and Tamil Nadu. In a statement issued to the media by his counsel Akbar Ali, Mr. Maudhany thanked Mr. Karunanidhi for extending ayurvedic medical care under humanitarian considerations to him. He thanked the Kerala Chief Minister, V.S. Achutanandan, for visiting Chennai to meet his Tamil Nadu counterpart in this regard. He also thanked the Ayurvedic pharmacy experts for the treatment being extended to him. According to prison sources, Mr. Maudhany was on Abhangyam oil application treatment for the last seven days. After examination by an expert on Tuesday evening, the Pizhichil and Dhara treatment was started on Wednesday.
