The newly admitted students of Thanthai Hans Roever College, Perambalur, who went to attend the first day's proceedings last week, were taken by pleasant surprise when the college organised a function to welcome them. The founder and chairman of the college, K. Varadharaajen, in his special address, called upon the students to shun inhibitions and develop confidence to successfully face and overcome the future challenges. The students should take full advantage of their stay in the college for an overall development and building a bright career. The Director of the college, N. Durairaj, explained various facilities created by the college management for the benefit of the student community. Principal R. Valluvan, vice-principal, R. Narayanasamy and heads of the various departments offered their felicitations.
