Mumbai blasts condemned

NEW DELHI : The Muslim Political Council of India (MPCI) and the All-India Christian Council have condemned the Mumbai serial blasts, saying it was a design of anti-national, inhuman cowards who are out to destabilise the integrity and unity of India by inflaming communal passions.

In a statement here, MPCI president Tasleem Rehmani said such a well-planned crime had been committed with security agencies clueless about it.

All-India Christian Council president Joseph D'souza and general secretary John Dayal said innocent people had been targeted in the mindless violence designed to create distances between communities.
