Degree applications: Candidates who have written the higher secondary SAY examination can apply for admission to degree courses in the university till July 14.

The affiliated colleges have been instructed to issue and accept application forms till that date.

If candidates submit the SAY improvement mark list before July 14 the marks will also be considered for the admission rank list.

Computer science: Applications have been invited for admission to the M.Sc. computer science course at the UITs at Alappuzha and Kollam for this academic year. The application forms can be had from the UITs. The last date for submitting completed application forms is 3 p.m. on July 22.

MCA examination: Applications for the sixth-semester MCA examinations can be submitted without fine till July 25.

Valuation camp postponed: Lecturers who have received orders to report at FMN College, Kollam, for the valuation camp for the fourth semester analytical chemistry examinations on July 14 need report only on July 17.

Practical: The university has published the dates for the practical examinations of the second semester B.Com computer applications (three main) examinations. Further information can be had from university information centre.

Viva-voce: The viva-voce of the fourth semester MA Malayalam examinations will be held at University College, Thiruvananthapuram, on July 17 and 18, at Government Women's College, Thiruvananthapuram, on July 19 and 20, at NSS College, Nilamel, on July 21, at FMN College, Kollam, on July 25 and at SN College, Kollam, on July 26. The hall tickets can be had from the respective centres.

The viva-voce will begin on these days at 9.30 a.m.

The viva-voce of the final semester MA psychology examinations will be held at the Department of Psychology from 9.30 a.m. onwards on July 21. Students should bring the hall ticket.

The viva-voce of the final semester MA Islamic History examinations will begin at 11 a.m. on July 19 at the Department of Islamic History. Students should bring the hall ticket.
