HYDERABAD:
Residents of Bhagyanagar Colony, State Bank of Hyderabad Colony and Padmashali Colony in Kavadiguda division have agreed to join hands with the Municipal Corporation of Hyderabad (MCH) to coordinate works of garbage clearance.
The residents assured MCH Commissioner Sanjay Jaju that they would take up the responsibility of taking up a door-to-door campaign for garbage segregation. They agreed to pay Rs. 30 per house per month and sought supply of tricycles.
Inspection done
The commissioner was on an inspection of East Zone areas on Wednesday. The SBI Colony Welfare Association at Gandhinagar requested the MCH to take up road repair works and complained against the parking of corporation vehicles in front of the colony entrance.
A dairy in the middle of the colony was also causing inconvenience and resulting in unhygienic surroundings, they said. Mr. Jaju also visited areas of M.J. Road, Afzalgunj, Musi, Imlibun, Salar Jung Museum and directed his staff to remove all illegal encroachments.
This is to be taken up in coordination with the district Collector's staff near Saibaba temple, Chaderghat, and Musi riverbed up to the Old Bus Depot.
