Precautions for passengers

HYDERABAD: Improvised Explosive Devices (IED) can be concealed in objects like toys, transistor, lunch boxes, handbags, briefcases and vehicles. They are usually kept in public places.

The passengers can take following precautions regarding suspicious objects:

Abandoned objects at public places should be viewed suspiciously.

Do not touch or try to open them. Put sandbags around them.

Do not accept parcels from strangers.

Inform police about the abandoned articles or dial 100.
