NIMS merit list
The merit list of candidates who took the entrance examination held on July 9 for BSc (Nursing) and Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) courses at the Nizam's Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS) will displayed on the notice board from Thursday and also on the website - www.nimsexams.com.
Any discrepancies may be brought to the attention of Sub-Dean, NIMS, before July 14. The provisional list of candidates for admission will be displayed on July 15.
UGC workshop
A three-day workshop on communication skills for university and degree college lecturers organised by the UGC Academic Staff College, Osmania University, will be held from July 17 to 19. Temporary or contract lecturers, who have been teaching for at least two academic sessions are also eligible. For details contact 27098102 and 27682346.
APMEU plea to YSR
The City branch of Andhra Pradesh Medical Employees' Union (APMEU) has urged Chief Minister Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy to revoke the suspension of Gandhi Hospital employees. The employees were suspended on charges of negligence in January.
In a statement, M. S. Murthy, secretary, expressed anguish over the delay in filling promotional zonal posts in various categories.
