Engineer in ACB trap

HYDERABAD: Disproportionate assets worth over Rs. 75 lakhs amassed by APCPDCL Assistant Divisional Engineer Baddam Sanjeeva Reddy were unearthed during simultaneous raids conducted by sleuths of the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) at his houses in Hyderabad, Nalgonda and Nizamabad districts on Wednesday.

The assets include two plots in Ranga Reddy district, two flats at Barkatpura, two cars, gold jewellery worth Rs. 1 lakh and investments in a bar and restaurant worth Rs. 20 lakhs and other bank accounts. The arrested will be produced before the designated Court for ACB cases on Thursday, according to a press release.
