JD(U) distributes work for office-bearers

NEW DELHI: Janata Dal (United) president Sharad Yadav on Thursday announced distribution of work amongst party office-bearers.

Secretary-general K.C. Tyagi has been given charge of Bihar, Rajasthan and Gujarat. He will also be responsible for all frontal organisations.

Party general-secretary and spokesman Shambhu Shrivastava will be in charge of party activities in Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka and the central office. M.P. Natha Gowda will look after Andhra Pradesh, Orissa and Goa, while Shiv Kumar will be in charge of Maharashtra, Mumbai, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana and Chandigarh. Both are party general secretaries.

General-Secretary Arun Kumar Srivastava has been given charge of Uttranchal, Jharkhand, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, Assam and North-East.

Javed Raza has been given charge of J&K, Punjab, Delhi, Chhattisgarh, Andaman and Nicobar, Dadar Nagar Haveli, Lakshadweep and Pondicherry.
