Meridian Mobile launches `Fly' brand

HYDERABAD : Meridian Mobile, part of the U.K.-based group that pioneered fast moving consumer goods in Europe, has launched `Fly', its flagship brand for Global System for Mobile Communications (GSM) phones here on Thursday. Targeted at the youth and with an eye on the replacement market, it expects to register a turnover of Rs. 100 crore and sell 25,000-35,000 handsets in India, says the company's Chief Executive Officer, India operations, Rajiv Khanna.
