Beauty On Duty wins main event

HYDERABAD: Messrs. D. Pratap Chander Reddy, Padira Vijay Kumar Reddy and Kunwar Raghuvendra Singh's Beauty On Duty (D. Singh astride) won the Northern Dancer Plate, the main event of the opening day's races held here on Thursday. Deshmukh trains the winner.

Fines:

In the Allez Vite Plate (Div. II) race, jockey N.M. Sequeira (Charming Prospect) was fined Rs. 1,000 for shifting in at about 900m on to Angel Of Faith (S.D. Pawar) who in turn went into Torrestrella (J.H. Christopher) causing the latter interference.

In the Razeen Plate (Div. I) race, jockey D. Singh (Miami Gold) was fined Rs. 1,000 for shifting in at about 700m, causing interference to Amazing Dancer (Pavan Kumar).

In the Deccan Prince Plate race, jockey C. Ruzaan (Diesel) was fined Rs. 3,000 for shifting out and crowding the runners drawn on his outside soon after the start, resulting in interference to Shine Away (Qazafi).
