Proceedings against actors stayed

MADURAI: The Madurai Bench of the Madras High Court on Thursday stayed all further proceedings in a case against film actors S. Shilpa Shetty and B. Reema Sen under the Indecent Representation of Women (Prohibition) Act, 1986, pending before the Judicial Magistrate-II. Admitting individual petitions from the actors, Justice R. Regupathi also dispensed with their appearance before the Magistrate.
