BCCI agrees to Colombo venue

New Delhi: All matches of the forthcoming triangular cricket series involving India, Sri Lanka and South Africa will be played at two venues in Colombo, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) confirmed on Thursday.

The tournament was earlier slated to be played in Colombo and Dambulla from August 14 to 29, but infighting in the wake of the Sri Lanka Cricket's (SLC) elections forced a change in the schedule.

The Itinerary: Aug 10 (Thursday): Arrival. Aug 11 (Friday): One-day Warm-up match, Colombo. Aug 14 (Monday): Sri Lanka vs. South Africa, R. Premadasa Stadium (D/N). Aug 16 (Wednesday): Sri Lanka vs. India R. Premadasa Stadium (D/N). Aug 19 (Saturday): India vs. South Africa, SSC. Aug 21(Monday): Sri Lanka vs. South Africa, SSC. Aug 24 (Thursday): Sri Lanka vs. India R. Premadasa Stadium (D/N). Aug 26 (Saturday): India vs. South Africa R. Premadasa Stadium (D/N). Aug 29 (Tuesday): Final R. Premadasa Stadium (D/N). Aug 30 (Wednesday): Departure. — PTI
